Missing Person - Newark Police Department
The Newark Police Department has issued a Gold Alert for John E. Dohms. John Dohms is a 64 year old male who is overdue in returning to his residence located in the 100 block of East Cleveland Avenue. Dohms, who suffers from dementia, was last seen on 9/13/12 date at approximately 2:00pm at his residence. Dohms is described as a white male, 6’1”, 165 lbs with gray hair and blue eyes. He is believed to be wearing khaki shorts, a bright green button down shirt, green socks with white tennis shoes, may be in possession of binoculars and has a medic alert bracelet on his left wrist. He is known to frequent stores in and around Main Street, the Pomeroy Trail, city and state parkland off of Paper Mill Road and University of Delaware facilities.
